3 days private safari to Maasai Mara Game Reserve
This spectacular 3 days’ private safari takes you to Kenya’s most famous wildlife spotting destination. The name “Maasai Mara” has become a synonym for “Big Five”. A special treat is the famous Wildebeest and Zebra migration between July and October, when millions of animals migrate to Maasai Mara in search for greener pastures. We promise you: it will be more than just a journey!
Day 1: Nairobi – Maasai Mara Game Reserve (overnight in Sentrim Mara Camp)
Our guide will pick you up in the early morning at your hotel in Nairobi.
We will then drive along the Great Rift Valley, passing the extinct volcano of Mount Longonot en-route to the beautiful Maasai Mara Game Reserve.
We will arrive at the camp in perfect time for lunch. You will also have time to freshen up and to relax bit before we will head off for more adventures.
In the afternoon, we will start with a game drive. We will have good chances to spot the “Big Five” (lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo and leopard) as well as the herds of wildebeest (gnus), zebras, impalas and giraffes.
As soon as the sun will go down, we will drive back to Sentrim Mara Camp for having dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Maasai Mara Game Reserve (overnight in Sentrim Mara Camp)
Our second day will start in the early morning with a cup of tea or coffee before we will head off for an early morning game drive.
Full breakfast at the camp will follow at around 09:00 am and afterwards the next game drive, where we will look for the Big Five and the abundance of wildlife and natural wonders.
Around noon, we will drive back to the camp for having lunch, freshen up a bit and relaxing.
In the late afternoon, we will head off for one more game drive. You may witness a dramatic hunt and much more activities.
Around 06:30 pm, we will slowly drive back to the camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Maasai Mara Game Reserve - Nairobi
Your last day of adventure starts. Don’t be sad, we will still have time to spot much more wildlife.
We will start with an early morning game drive. It is the prime time for animals to go for hunting. You should not miss that.
Full of impressions, you will take a breakfast in the mid-morning hours.
After a delicious breakfast, we will start our journey back to Nairobi. The lodge will provide you a lunch package (optional), so that you can relax during the drive.
Arrived in Nairobi, we will take you back to your hotel.
