Shimba Hills Safari & Sheldrick Hike
A Shimba Hills National Reserve day trip is an ideal choice for an adventurous holiday!
Our driver will pick you up from your hotel in the morning around 07:00 am. We will then depart together for the Shimba Hills National Reserve.
During a game drive, you will get the chance to see the rare sable antelopes (which are only found here), buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, impalas, colobus monkeys and different bird species. On a clear day, you can see the outline of the magnificent Usambara Mountains in Tanzania.
An experienced ranger will then take you to the Sheldrick Waterfalls. To go to the waterfalls, we will have to walk approx. 2 km. Please take note that you have to be sufficiently physically fit and healthy. The view will compensate us for our efforts and the shower at the waterfall will feel twice as refreshing.
After visiting the Sheldrick Falls, we will be on our way for a game drive en-route to Shimba Green Lodge for lunch. The lodge has an amazing view over Shimba Hills National Reserve.
In the late afternoon, we will embark on a game drive en-route to Mombasa or Diani Beach, where we will take you to your hotel.

For two people, the price for this tour starts at around 135 USD per person (depending on the season). If you are more people, the price per person will reduce.
