KARIBU KENYA!

Ol Pejeta & Chimpanzee Safari

Our guide will comfortably pick you up in your Nairobi hotel around 06:00 am in the morning. From there, we will start our 3.5-hour drive to Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary, which takes you through a scenic landscape of coffee and tea estates.

Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary is a sanctuary for chimpanzees from West and Central Africa. You will learn more about some of the 38 chimpanzees that live in the sanctuary’s natural enclosures and watch the primates as they approach a food platform.

Later, at the Ol Pejeta Concersvancy, we will head for a game drive through open plains where a remarkable number of rare animals live, including wild dogs, zebras, cheetahs and wildebeest, as well as the Big Five.

In perfect time for lunch, we will have a stop at Sweetwaters Serena Camp for having a delicious time. You will also have the possibility to relax and to freshen up.

After lunch, we will visit a rhino farm and a manyatta, a replica of a traditional Kenyan farm, where you can learn more about the cultures of the Maasai, Polot, Turkana and Samburu. We will meet the villagers, see traditional houses and dances and you will have the possibility to buy unique souvenirs.

In the late afternoon, we will return to Nairobi, where our driver will take you back to your hotel.
