5 days private safari to Amboseli National Park, Lake Naivasha & Maasai Mara Game Reserve
This stunning 5 days’ safari takes you to three of Kenya’s best game viewing destinations. From the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro and the shores of Lake Naivasha to the world famous Maasai Mara. Here, we come face to face with Africa’s Big Five. A special treat is the famous Wildebeest and Zebra migration between July and October, when millions of animals migrate to Maasai Mara in search of greener pastures. We promise you: it will be more than just a journey!
Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park (overnight in Little Amanya Camp)
Our guide will pick you up from your hotel in Nairobi around 07:00 am. We will then travel to Amboseli National Park. On a clear day, you will have the possibility to see Mount Kilimanjaro.
We will arrive at the camp in a perfect time for lunch and you will have enough time to relax and freshen up.
Around 04:00 pm, we will start with a stunning game drive. Amboseli National Park is well known for its great herds of elephants.
As soon as the sun will go down, we will drive slowly back to the camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Amboseli National Park – Lake Naivasha (overnight in Naivasha West Beach Camp)
We will start our day with a delicious breakfast. We will leave Amboseli National Park behind us and head off to beautiful Lake Naivasha. The lake is a paradise for all sorts of water birds: pelicans, herons, eagles and many more. Hippos are taking baths or rest lazily around the shores of the lake.
Upon arrival at Lake Naivasha, you will have the possibility for an afternoon boat ride (optional, at an extra cost) to watch the sunset over Lake Naivasha. Navigating right through herds of hippos is a special experience.
After the boat ride, we will have a spectacular game drive before we depart to the camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Lake Naivasha – Maasai Mara Game Reserve (overnight in Sentrim Mara Camp)
After a good night sleep and a breakfast, we will head off to the famous Maasai Mara Game Reserve.
Upon arrival in the Maasai Mara, we will have a first game drive en-route to the camp for having lunch.
In the late afternoon, we will explore the huge reserve on a spectacular game drive.
Day 4: Maasai Mara Game Reserve (overnight in Sentrim Mara Camp)
Are you ready for a day full of adventures? This day of safari will be exclusively spent in the Maasai Mara. We will look out for the park’s big cats, the big five and the abundance of wildlife and natural wonders found in Kenya’s most famous game reserve.
Around noon, you will have a lunch in the camp or we will have a picnic in the park.
We will end our day with a delicious dinner at the Sentrim Mara Camp.
Day 5: Maasai Mara Game Reserve – Nairobi
We will wake up around 06:00 am for an early morning game drive. This is the prime time to spot the wild animals. So many activities happen in the early morning.
Full breakfast follows around 09:00 am.
Fuelled by our impression and a lunch package (optional), we will go back to Nairobi, where we will take you to your hotel.
